Major renovation of a 1960s brick dwelling
into a contemporary home.
high-end build Completed on time, and to budget
This was a personal project that involved transitioning our 1960s family abode into a contemporary modern home. The layout and size of the original home was true to its day – dark and small. We wanted a home that gave us more space, more light, and a stronger connection with the outdoors. …more
Major renovation of 1900s elevated cottage into a modern character family home.
high-end build completed under budget
This project involved the conversion of a single-floor heritage house into a two-level modern character home – accommodating additional living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and off-street garaging. Whilst boasting modern comforts and fit-out, its design remained sympathetic to its heritage roots. Currently in process of applying for CCC.
Mid-sized office fit-out for urban consultancy located in iconic Auckland landmark.
completed on time and to budget
This project took place within a well-known Auckland landmark building – the old Kiwi Bacon factory – which at the time was itself undergoing a major overhaul and re-design to create a high-energy modern business hub. The base-build design was determined by the developer. Design and fit-out responsibility of the leased-spaces sat with each client/tenant. The spaces were required to comply with the base-build and heritage guidelines. The office was largely open plan, but with break-out spaces, a workshop space and kitchenette.
Even small-scale projects require careful consideration, and the coordination of services and resources.
DECks and fences
Decks create additional living space and add value to your home. Building, replacing, or repairing fences also add value. In both instances it’s important to get the design right, and also understand what you can and can’t do before you start, e.g. whether you need a consent.
Remodels
It’s a well known fact that refreshing your bathroom, kitchen, or living space can create considerable value to your home. As is the case with all projects, getting the design right upfront, and understanding what can be done is important before you make a start.
Repairs
We can also assist with a range of repairs (interior and exterior) – but strongly encourage you to front-foot issues with preventative maintenance, before they get out of hand and burn a hole in your pocket.
