Why use a project manager

When it comes to successful building projects, an experienced project manager is crucial. Even small-scale projects require careful consideration, and the coordination of services and resources.

Using a Project Manager:

  • provides vision, direction and scope control

  • reduces financial, compliance, and legal risk

  • increases the likelihood that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to specification

  • frees-up stakeholder time to do other things.

Our process

Every project starts with a conversation

It’s not rocket science, but open communication and conversation throughout the process is key to success. It’s amazing how many projects become unstuck when this basic principle fails.

Getting the basics right is critical – and that’s what we are good at. We like to keep the process simple. Doing so ensures your project remains on-track, on-time and on-target.

engage

Having a meaningful conversation early in the process is a key to success.

Mobilise

HalifaxBuild has strong working relationships with several quality partners. We have partners across all the core building trades that we work with regularly, and have access to many more.

Manage

We manage your project from start to finish. Throughout the process we measure progress against a set of ‘success measures’ to ensure the project remains on-track, on-time, and on-target.

For larger projects we complement our regular face to face communication and project meetings with an on-line project portal. This is a key project tool of ours.

It acts as both a ‘window’ to your project where you can log-in and see progress dynamically displayed on a dashboard; AND a ‘communication platform’ – where key documents, conversation threads, actions, and decisions are captured.
